The kick-off meeting of the IQ Defence project (Grant Agreement No. 101249724) was held on January 26, 2026, at the campus of Algebra Bernays University in Zagreb.

The meeting marked the official start of project implementation under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL-ECCC-2024-DEPLOY-CYBER-07-CYBERSEC-02). Representatives of the project partners – Algebra Bernays University (coordinator) and Millenium Promocija – convened to formally launch project activities and align operational planning for the first implementation phase.

During the meeting, the consortium confirmed:

• The project governance structure and coordination mechanisms
• The detailed implementation roadmap for 2026
• The timeline for the development of occupational standards, awareness materials, and multilingual training programmes
• The framework for policy coordination and stakeholder engagement
